Here's a very cool BANE Batman Wallpaper submitted by our friend Sean Hartter who was inspired by the recent photo of Tom Hardy as BANE in the next Batman film, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! ( Thanks Sean! )
Our friend Chris Franchi recently submitted this amazing artwork for a Bat-Blog Exclusive Wallpaper. This dark image of Gotham City's #1 Hero is really great for a background. It combines both drawn artwork & photography. Giving the whole thing a very realistic look. Plus, it's extremely cool! ( Thanks Chris ) For more "Batman Wallpapers" be sure to visit the Bat-Archives located on the left side of this page, near the center, or click the button down below for more recent ones.
Finally! This morning Warner Bros released an official photo of the Actor Tom Hardy dressed as the Super-Villain, BANE!! Of course we're talking about the next Batman movie, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! So far, it's looking pretty cool! Oh yeah, as a side-note I should say that I made this image a "DARK KNIGHT RISES" Wallpaper Background, so please use it to brighten your desktop!
First off, this image is actually a BATMAN WALLPAPER Background, give it a try! But the real reason for this post is to show this Vintage French Magazine advertisement for the Citroën Dyane, a, economy car from France. It's funny, they're sort of saying that this car is so great that Batman and Robin would choose it for a Batmobile, ha! This automobile is pretty cool & unfortunately you don't see them much in the US ( They were only made from 1967 to 1983 ). For more information just click HERE!

OK, Every week we post a few FREE Brand-New BATMAN WALLPAPERS here at the Bat-Blog, it's called "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"! This week I was really struggling with what to post. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw how these 2 random backgrounds totally mirrored each other. OK, I know it's dumb, ha ha! but look at the size & angle of the Bat-Symbol in each of these pictures... they're almost the same! Now, the 1st one is a photo sent in by a Batman Fan who, one day, cooked a Bat-Biscuit! Hey, you gotta admit it looks pretty neat & is very creative. He did a great job on it! Now, the next wallpaper background is a CGI-rendered image of a young Bruce Wayne in the alleyway with his murdered parents. The looming shadow of the BAT symbolizes his future. Anyways, we hope you enjoy these. Please be sure to come back next week and we promise we won't be so weird, ha!

Hey Kids, it's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday", on Thursday! Every week we post a few Free BATMAN Desktop Backgrounds & yesterday I was so excited about "Batman: Year One" Animated Movie News that I completely forgot. Yes, I'm a total idiot, ha!
OK, now check this out, the 1st wallpaper shown here is one I made using some recent comic book graphics, it's pretty straight forward. The fun part is that it looks like the Dynamic Duo is rushing right at you! Plus, the artwork is pretty nice.
The 2nd one was submitted by a Bat-Blog Fan who drew this on his computer. One technique he used to make this image extremely AWESOME is that the characters are in sharp focus while the background is slightly blurred, a very cool visual effect! It gives the idea of fast movement and action... very nice! Now, I feel really bad but I lost the email from this person. So, at the moment I'm kind of unable to give the Artist credit & I apologize ( Hey, if you're the guy who drew this then please contact me again. Because of some problems with my server I lost your message, thanks. Oh yeah, this art is really really great!! )

OK, I know that coverage on THE DARK KNIGHT Batman movie is sort of "old news" now but there are still a ton of people who are HUGE Fans of this film. I know that, personally, I have a kind of "love & hate" feeling about it. I love the movie because it's totally great & was a lot of fun. On the other hand, as a "Batman News Reporter", I had to cover the thing night & day for many months before it even came out. I sort of got totally burned-out on it before it hit the Movie Theater & I remember that when I went to go enjoy the movie I had to sort of shake off all the information I had acquired about it. But, thank God, it was an AWESOME movie! Now, since some time has gone by I'd like to share these TDK Wallpapers that are pretty cool! The 1st one is Heath Ledger, as The JOKER, driving the School Bus right after the Bank Robbery...a great image & awesome background! The next one is sort of a PROMO portrait of Batman, Two-Face, & The Joker. These were done by a Digital Artist named "Messenjah Matt". He took a ton of photographic images from the movie & then digitized them into graphics that made awesome backgrounds. If you like these 2 examples, then please be sure to visit his website where there are many many more, just click HERE!

We're excited! The Bat-Blog just got some awesome new photos showing the costumes and set design for the UK stage show of BATMAN LIVE WORLD ARENA TOUR!! They were very large pics so I decided to offer them as super-fun BATMAN LIVE WALLPAPERS you can use to brighten your desktop's background. All the photos are pretty much self-explanatory! The 1st one shows the costumes for some of the characters: The Joker, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Batman, Robin, Riddler, The Penguin, & Poison Ivy. The next wallpaper features just Batman and Robin, but it shows a lot of details to their costume design. Last, but not least, the final photo shows what the "Gotham City" Set Design of the Stage will look like. So, which costume is your favorite?

Included here, for your viewing pleasure, are a few BATMAN WALLPAPERS I made this morning using images from the recent "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" TV Cartoon where they did a parody of Mad Magazine, Japanese Bat-Manga, & Scooby Doo! I wanted to totally hype this episode on my blog & YouTube page, before it came out, but the WB Publicity Department sent the promo package late ( I'm really getting tired of that crap! )
Anyways, the episode was yesterday & it was one of the very best so far! There was a part of the show where they showed Bat-Mite, in his own dimension, where he displays his personal Batman Toy Collection ( Check out the 2nd Wallpaper ). He had a special room with display cases of cool vintage stuff. Plus, there were cool pieces of bat-memorabilia just floating around.
Now, the part that was extra special for me is that I know the guy who contributed all the rare Batman toy photos. I'm not sure if I can say who he is but he's a very good friend & I was very very proud to see his stuff on the show. Plus, I know he must have been going crazy seeing it on TV, ha!
