BATMAN WALLPAPERS - Comic Book Graphics & BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour

Hey Kiddos! It's Wednesday so you know what time it is... "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday"!! We have some great stuff this week so let's get to it. The 1st one is a Batman background with a simple color palette. Basically, it's comic book style graphics ( line art ) in 2 shades of blue, Nice! This was submitted by our friend Galen, who, I think colored it. Either way it's pretty awesome! The next wallpaper is a publicity photo for the BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour. There hasn't been much news or hype about this UK event lately so I thought this image would be fun!

BATMAN LIVE - COSTUMES and STAGE DESIGN - Wallpaper Backgrounds

We're excited! The Bat-Blog just got some awesome new photos showing the costumes and set design for the UK stage show of BATMAN LIVE WORLD ARENA TOUR!! They were very large pics so I decided to offer them as super-fun BATMAN LIVE WALLPAPERS you can use to brighten your desktop's background. All the photos are pretty much self-explanatory! The 1st one shows the costumes for some of the characters: The Joker, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Batman, Robin, Riddler, The Penguin, & Poison Ivy. The next wallpaper features just Batman and Robin, but it shows a lot of details to their costume design. Last, but not least, the final photo shows what the "Gotham City" Set Design of the Stage will look like. So, which costume is your favorite?

Video Clips - BATMAN LIVE - UK Press Preview

YES! FINALLY! We finally get some decent press coverage from the BATMAN LIVE World Tour Show that will start in the UK & then arrive later in the US. Oh yeah, Featured in these 4 Video Clips: We get to see the Set Design, an Animation Sample for the Stage Video Screen, a CG representation of Harley Quinn's Carnival & also Wayne Manor ( with a very small teaser of the Bat-Cave ), and then the very last video shows all the Actors & their Costumes! Oh man, everything looks really really AWESOME!! I think this show is going to be incredible!

Derrick's RIDDLER TATTOO - Batman Comic Book Cover Art!

Most Loyal Readers of the Bat-Blog are pretty serious Batman Fans. In fact, some of them even go out & get tattoos to prove it! Here's a great example: Shown here is an amazing tattoo of THE RIDDLER that our friend Derrick just got recently. It's based on the Batman comic book art of Tony Daniel. It's from the cover to Batman # 699. This Bat-Tat turned out great & I wanna thank Derrick for sending this to us. If any other Bat-Fans out there get some ink done then please do the same.

John's Custom BATMAN Action Figure Photos

Check out these cool pics! These photos were sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named John who loves to create Custom-Made Action Figures of his favorite Batman characters. THE RIDDLER Wallpaper Backgrounds From BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Video Game

Warner Bros & Rocksteady just released some images of THE RIDDLER from the New BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game! Everyone remembers how the Riddler played a part in the last game, Arkham Asylum. There was a Bonus play where you searched around for "Riddler Clues". But the thing was, they never really showed him. You mostly just heard his voice. Well, in this sequel to the "Game of The Year", the Riddler plays a major role. These 2 Wallpaper backgrounds celebrate this ( Please share these with all your friends ).

New BATMAN GOLF CLUB COVERS Made by Creative Covers

Our friend, The BATFAN, sent us these wonderful photos of some brand-new Batman merchandise he recently added to his collection, BATMAN GOLF CLUB COVERS! They're made by a company called "Creative Covers" ( Link down below ). Basically there are 2 different sets. One set consists of Batman characters: The Dark Knight, Joker, Penguin, & Riddler that are sort of like Plush Animals. If I got the info correct I think they're about 24" long, that's pretty BIG! Then there are some that are standard head covers and they have a more modern-day BATMAN comic book logo on them. I'm not sure if these are made by Creative Covers because they're packaged for retail sale & look different. But all of these covers are really cool, especially the plush ones! Vintage 1974 BATMAN VILLAIN Jigsaw Puzzles in a Can!

Everybody who grew-up in the 1970's will recognize this stuff, it's a Jigsaw Puzzle in a Can! Oh yeah, as a little kid I used to love these. I think I had 2 or 3 of them, Superman & Batman. But here are some that were sort of an unusual series, The SUPER-FOES! These puzzles featured major Batman Villians: The Joker, The Penguin, & The Riddler! These are all the pictures I could find of these super-rare toys & I'm wondering if they made more of them. I mean, it seems sort of logical that they might have made one with Catwoman too. But either way, the artwork on these are wonderful.

Just in time for Christmas is this totally amazing DC SUPER FRIENDS TRIO Play Set! Our good friend "Batmobilly" spotted this treasure while shopping the other day at Target. It looks like Fisher Price has come out with a BATCAVE SUPER MEGA SET & it's totally AWESOME! Click on the picture up above for a larger version, it's beautiful! You get the Batcave, a Batmobile Car, the Joker-Bot, the Batwing Jet, 6 other accessories/mini-vehicles, and a TON of figures!! The characters include: The Joker, Robin, Batman, Superman, Penguin, Riddler, & Mr. Freeze. There are 11 figures in all with a few different variations of Batman, Robin, & the Prince of Crime, The Joker! WOW! This is CRAZY!! New BATMAN - THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD "The Knights of Tomorrow" Wallpaper Backgrounds

Here, for your viewing pleasure, are 2 brand-new BATMAN WALLPAPERS with images from the next TV Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode, "The Knights of Tomorrow". Tonight's show will be sort of special because it's going to send Batman through time & we'll all get a look at all the many variations of the character in different eras. Like, "The Riddler" Wallpaper Background shows a 1939 Golden Age Batman ( See the short purple gloves, unique bat-belt with circle buckle, & his ears are super-pointy ). Then the one with Robin is very much like the 1940's when Bruce first acquired Robin, the Boy Wonder. It has a very 1940's look about it too. Awesome! This episode looks like it's going to be great! It airs on Friday, November 19th at 7:30pm on the Cartoon Network. After watching it, please let us know what you think about it.

Rick's Totally Insane BATMAN THEME Tattoo Artwork!!

Check out these wonderful photos sent in to the Bat-Blog by an extremely serious Batman Fan named Rick. I mean, this guy totally loves the character! To prove it he has had a ton of tattoo work done all over his body. The artwork is very well done & covers many different themes of the character. You have different comic book logos, many different villains ( The Joker, Penguin, & Riddler ), a few variations of Batman himself, the GCPD (Gotham City Police Department) Blimp, The Joker Card, & even a "POW! & BAM!" from the 1966 TV Show! WOW! I wanna thank Rick for both sending in these great pics & for being such an awesome fan...that's cool! Now a question for our readers, Do YOU have any bat-tats? This is just a quick post to announce that there are a few brand-new TRIO ( Fisher Price ) DC SUPER FRIENDS Figures in stores right now. These pics were sent in by our friend Batmobilly. He bought these at Toys-R-Us last night. They are special 2-packs with Batman & The Riddler in one, then Robin & The Joker in another...AWESOME! I really really want these!! ( Thanks Batmobilly ).
