BATMAN ARKHAM CITY NEWS - Penguin Officially Confirmed on PSM3 Video Game Magazine Cover

More information for the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game is finally coming out. The PENGUIN has been officially announced as a Villain for the series. This is no surprise really when you consider that in one of the earliest teaser trailers they showed the ICEBERG LOUNGE building. But hey, I love this character, so that's cool! Here's a graphic of him on the cover of the recent UK Edition of PSM3 Magazine. Batman: Arkham City will launch in North America on October 18th, in Europe on October 21st and in Australia on October 19th.

BATMAN GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTERS - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

OK, I usually post a few BATMAN WALLPAPERS that compliment each other, but these 2 seem to cancel each other out. The 1st one is an ultra-sweet image of some very happy Batman Cookies. Admit it, looking at them made you smile :) The next background is an official image from Warner Bros showing their concept art for a future Batman Video Game that will be called "Gotham City Imposters". Now, so far, I'm not able to have much of an opinion on this yet. But it's making me curious, what do YOU think?

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY - BLUEPRINT MAP for Video Game

We got this amazing BLUEPRINT MAP OF ARKHAM CITY from the "Batman: Arkham City" Video Game PR Department. It's really large ( click on it ). It shows how the game's playing environment is going to be laid out. Of course, in the actual game, it will be way more detailed. But it's enough to give you an idea of how HUGE the areas will be. It looks like you'll start out in Arkham Asylum & then take the bridge to Gotham City.... AWESOME!

New BATMAN SLOT MACHINE Online Gambling Game Coming Soon!

Here's some news to keep Gambling-Addicts happy! According to the CASINO ADVISOR website it looks like BATMAN is now going to be a popular ONLINE gambling game. So, I guess don't go to your favorite real-life casino looking for it, ha! It's going to be a "Slot Machine" type of online video game with the Joker as the main villain. The graphics look kinda cool & you can see Batman, Commissioner Jim Gordon, Batmobile, Batcycle, Batsignal, Bang Flag, Acid Flower, Batwing, Harpoon Gun, Joker Playing Card, and of course, The Joker!

Of course each magazine covers different consoles, the Playstation 3 ( PS3 ) and XBox 360. If anyone, anywhere in the world ( ha ), sees some other covers soon then please let us know.

More BATMAN TOYS and COLLECTIBLES From Around The World!

OK, today I'm on sort of a "foreign kick"! That means I'm focusing on some of the extremely cool Batman Merchandise & Toys made in other countries. But trust me, this stuff is pretty cool to see so you'll like it, ha!



The 1st example is an extremely RARE item. This is a packaged Bat-Ball Toy made in Italy in 1966. This Italian Toy is almost non-existent in the US. It's probably even hard to find over there! I love the vintage-style graphics. Plus, this is one of those toys where the packaging is "everything". I mean, once you open it & there's just that generic rubber ball, then it's no longer a "character item".



The next item is fun because it's Japanese & we all know that some of the coolest Bat-items come from Japan! It's a Video Game Disc for the Sega-Saturn by Aklaim. It's also tied-into the BATMAN FOREVER Movie.



Third, is this BATMOBILE Diecast Toy Car from the UK. It's a Hot Wheels Colour Shifters Car made by Mattel.



Now, the last photos, these are really great! I really love these! This is a complete set of 6 BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Jelly Glasses from France. I think these might have been for the UK market too. If anybody remembers those Welch's Grape Jelly Glasses we have here in the US then I think these are a little smaller. Now, you might be looking at the photo & saying, "Hey, There's 12 Glasses?!" Yes, this photo shows both the front & back of each glass. The 6 on the left are the "front". The "fronts" have Batman & the "backs" have villains. Well, one of them has the Batmobile, ha, but you get the idea.

It will be written by Paul Dini & illustrated by Carlos D'Anda. Warner Bros & Rocksteady just released some images of THE RIDDLER from the New BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game! Everyone remembers how the Riddler played a part in the last game, Arkham Asylum. There was a Bonus play where you searched around for "Riddler Clues". But the thing was, they never really showed him. You mostly just heard his voice. Well, in this sequel to the "Game of The Year", the Riddler plays a major role. These 2 Wallpaper backgrounds celebrate this ( Please share these with all your friends ).

New DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Statue - The JOKER

Here's a brand-new statue from DC Direct of THE JOKER as he appears in the new DC UNIVERSE ONLINE Video Game. I like that they went with a "classic comic book" version of the character, "The Clown Prince of Crime!" It's based on the artwork of Jim Lee. This statue will be hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain and measure approximately 7.6" high x 5 1/4" wide x 2 1/5" deep. It will also be a Limited Edition piece. The retail price will be around $ 90.00 & it goes on sale near November 16th, 2011.

Well, some news from DC Direct shows us this brand-new DC UNIVERSE ONLINE STATUE of HARLEY QUINN based on the comic book art of Jim Lee. Now of course we're talking about the DCU Online Video Game. This is a nice series of statues with a lot of Batman-related characters. It's hand-painted, cold-cast in porcelain and measuring approximately 7" high x 4 1/2" wide x 3 3/4" deep. It will be a Limited Edition Statue, with an estimated retail price of $90.00, and will go on sale around November 16th, 2011.

Today, in BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game News, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment & Rocksteady Studios presented a Press Release where they announced a release date for the highly-anticipated video game! It looks like it is coming out in the USA on October 18th, in Australia beginning October 19th and in Europe and other global territories beginning October 21st. Look for it in the Xbox 360, Microsoft: Games for Windows PC, and the PlayStation 3 (PS3) computer entertainment systems.
