BATMAN GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTERS - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

OK, I usually post a few BATMAN WALLPAPERS that compliment each other, but these 2 seem to cancel each other out. The 1st one is an ultra-sweet image of some very happy Batman Cookies. Admit it, looking at them made you smile :) The next background is an official image from Warner Bros showing their concept art for a future Batman Video Game that will be called "Gotham City Imposters". Now, so far, I'm not able to have much of an opinion on this yet. But it's making me curious, what do YOU think?

His artwork is pretty cool & as an example look at this parody of an old "Saturday Evening Post" Magazine Cover featuring The Joker & Harley Quinn. It's titled "The Gotham Evening Post", hilarious! Batman GOTHAM CITY With Bat-Signal Birthday Cake

A Bat-Blog Fan named Jackie sent us this wonderful photo of a Batman Birthday Cake that her, her Husband and Mother created. Jackie's Mom runs a small side-business where she makes birthday cakes for people. One day she got a client who wanted a Batman-themed treat. So, they decided to make one featuring GOTHAM CITY WITH A LARGE BAT-SIGNAL. The completed cake is shown here & it turned out really great! It was for a little boy's 5th birthday & I know he will probably never forget it...it's very VERY cool! ( Thanks to Jackie for sending this fun pic ).

GOTHAM HIGH - The Batman Cartoon That Didn't Get Made

Here are some pictures that have been heavily circulating around the Internet. They are Concept Art for an idea for a new animated TV Show called GOTHAM HIGH. Basically, it's the entire World of Batman as teenagers. Yes, teenagers, ha! You have Bruce Wayne, Barbara Gordon, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, The Penguin, Clayface, Two-Face, Bane, etc... I have to admit the artwork is very good and the character's quirks & personalities are all caught pretty well ( Be sure to click on the 1st image for a large, more detailed, photo ). But, personally, I'm extremely happy that this never got off the ground. Now, some people have said that if it did get green-lit that it would have been fun... because it's such a train wreck. Plus, one friend said he would have liked to have seen the Action Figures made from this show because the character designs are kinda neat. What do you think?

BATMAN WITH VILLAINS - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

This week's Batman Wallpapers are sort of going with a theme here: "Something old, something new". For the "old" we have a vintage-style graphic that features Batman & The Penguin. This was originally used for a promotional event for the 1966 Batman TV Show. Now for the "new" I thought it would be cool to do something related to the BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video game since that is very modern day. It shows The Dark Knight & Harley Quinn with Gotham City in the background. Now, which one do you like the best? ( Hopefully both of them, ha! ) Also, please remember: The BAT-BLOG.COM posts FREE Batman Wallpaper Backgrounds every Wednesday so be sure to visit every week. We also have many more located in the BAT-ARCHIVES. You can find that on the far left-hand side of this blog, near the middle....have fun!
