Hey, a friend told me about this Bat-Video & I'm wondering how I could have missed it. OMG, it's AWESOME! Basically it's all about the 1966 Batmobile, the real Batman TV & Movie Car! The cool thing is that it's origin story is being told by none other than George Barris, the car's creator! It's pretty cool, check it out!!
Here's a random photo I found on the Internet where the main function of the pic was to dramatize the use of car wax! In fact, this photo was taken right after a fresh coat of NXT Tech Wax was applied. Yeah, the photo was about selling Meguiar's Auto Wax products, ha! But for us Batman Fans this pic is all about THE JOKER!! Oh man, this paint job is just completely amazing! Of course the Joker's face looks great, but I really love the "black toxic smoke" effect too.
Last Saturday our friend BatDave went to cover an event for a local Newspaper he works for. It was called "Hot Rods and Harleys"! They have it every year in historic downtown Rahway, NJ. This all-day festival spotlights Bikes, Bands, Babes, Beer, Classic Cars, Food and Family Fun! ( Sounds like a good time to me, ha! ). BatDave took his Girlfriend, BatChick, & another friend. The cool thing was that they didn't know Batman's Car was gonna be there! They turned the corner, when, KA-POW! Sitting right there was one of the coolest 1966 Replica-Batmobiles they have ever seen! The car is owned by Louie and Anna Marie and they really have outdone themselves. The attention to detail is completely insane! Just check out all the photos & be prepared to drool. Needless to say BatDave and his Crew had a wonderful time, ha! ( Thanks to BatDave for sharing his photos and story ).
Here's a really great find on YouTube. Here's a funny TV Commercial Video advertising Suzuki SWIFT Cars in Srilanka. Yes, Batman in Srilanka!
First off, this image is actually a BATMAN WALLPAPER Background, give it a try! But the real reason for this post is to show this Vintage French Magazine advertisement for the Citroën Dyane, a, economy car from France. It's funny, they're sort of saying that this car is so great that Batman and Robin would choose it for a Batmobile, ha! This automobile is pretty cool & unfortunately you don't see them much in the US ( They were only made from 1967 to 1983 ). For more information just click HERE!
Check out this extremely cool Custom HARLEY QUINN ( Batman ) Car! It's owned by a Bat-Blog Fan named Jennifer. It's a totally pimped-out 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT. I'm totally loving the giant-size Harley Quinn graphic on the side, sweet! I got to know Jennifer on facebook ( Thanks Jen, for sending the cool pic ) & if you would like more information about her custom ride then please check out her car's special page, just click HERE!
OK, This car is both completely AWESOME & totally CRAZY! Of course, I mean "crazy" in a good way! Oh man, it's so cool!! This is a fully-customized MESSERSCHMITT Automobile made to look like a Batman Car! The custom work & paint job is beautiful. The appraised value of this car is only $75,000 which I think is way too low, it should be more in the 2-3 million range, ha! Please check out all the photos, you'll be drooling for days. Plus, if you would like to see this "Piece of ART" in real-life all ya gotta do is visit the Dezer Collection Museum in North Miami, Florida. For more pics & further info, click

Here's a cool newspaper clipping sent in by our friend BatDave. It appeared last week in The SandPaper, a very popular weekly publication that highlights various South Jersey Beach communities. Basically it's about a Car Show that went on in NJ. Once again, a personally customized-replica 1966 Batman TV Batmobile steals the show, this time at a local scholarship fundraiser in Manahawkin, NJ!! I think the girl that wrote this article did a fantastic job. Very insightful bat-observations and you can tell she really did her research!! Be sure to click on it for a large "readable" version. ( Thanks BatDave )
Batman: The Animated Series still ranks as one of my all-time favorite Batman cartoons. I mean, I love the new "Brave and the Bold", but nothing will ever beat the old 90's series. One cool thing about that TV show was the Art Deco Style Batmobile. Well, check out the video down below. Here is a Batman Fan, who I think is an Italian, showing his custom-made Batmobile car. Now it's not totally & completely perfect ( like he made it a "one-seater", not two ), but it is extremely nice. After watching the video click HERE to see some wonderful photos of this car.
In this hilarious video by "Barely Political" we get to see Batman as he gets his Batmobile ride pimped by "Improve My Automobile!".
Check out these 2 cool photos of an amazing BATMAN Batmobile Toy Car Collection. No, I'm serious, click on them to see 2 HUGE photos that show a lot of detail, ha! What you will see are large close-up shots of many of the cars owned by our friend Cully. His focus is mostly the Batmobiles made by Corgi Toys and Mattel's Hot Wheels. He has the 1966 George Barris Batmobile, the 70's version, the Jokermobile, Catwoman's Car, the Bat-Boat, Bat-Bike, etc... way too many to list, ha! He also has most, if not all, of the variations of the Monster Jam Batmobile "Monster Truck". I wanna thank Cully for sending in these great pics & sorry it took me so long to finally getting them online, ha! But these photos are wonderful & I appreciate it. I also want to invite all other Bat-Blog Fans to share their pics too.
"Being a Batman Collector" is really the main focus of the Bat-Blog. So, every chance we get, we try to feature Brand-New Bat-Merchandise or Older Vintage Toys. Here are 2 new items to keep an eye out for on your next hunt. The 1st photo is an AUTO WORLD 1966 BATMAN TV Show BATMOBILE SLOT CAR... in WHITE Color! Yes, besides making the actual Slot Car Set ( with track & everything ) Auto World sells just the car by itself. But they're not stopping there! They are also coming out with a few variations: the Classic "Black" Batmobile, a "Chrome" version, & a "White" one ( Shown up above ). Next is a very fun piece of Bat-Memorabilia, it's a BATMAN Belly Washers Bottle! This one was recently found in a Safeway Grocery Store ( Thanks Kevin ) & before you think you might already have this one, it is new & the figure on top is different.
Since today is Valentine's Day I thought I would post this photo of an extremely cool "1966 Batmobile Car" BATMAN Birthday Cake made by a very talented Girl named Michelle. She did an amazing job on it. Now I know that a "Birthday Cake" has absolutely nothing to do with Valentine's Day, ha ha! But this cake is so awesome I thought I would post it anyway!
Early this morning I got an email from a Bat-Blog Fan named Dan who shared this dream of wanting a Fiberglass Freaks 1966 Batmobile Replica Car. Which is kinda funny because that's the same dream that tortures all of us, ha ha! But hey, Dan is doing something about it! He is currently trying to raise money ( through donations ) to buy his very own '66 Batmobile, and then tour the country with it, stopping to visit everyone who has helped and giving them the chance to drive it themselves! He also plans on stopping at Children Hospitals along the way and giving free rides to sick kids. So, if you wanna help a Bat-Brother out then please give whatever you can, just click HERE!
Awhile back I got a message from a Bat-Blog Fan named Jennifer and she was pretty excited about sharing some photos of her brand-new Custom Batmobile! The problem was that it was snowing really bad where she lived & she had to wait to take some pics. Well, the photos are here & it was worth the wait! With a little help from her Dad, they totally pimped her ride into a beautiful Batman Car! She now has large Bat-Logo Symbols on her Hood, Both Doors, & Back Window. She even has a Batman Steering Wheel Cover & Floor Mats... Now, how cool is that?!! I wanna thank Jennifer for sharing these cool pics. If any other Bat-Blog Readers out there have some fun stuff to share then please do.
