Here's a brand new "collectible item" for Bat-Fans who love the old 1966 BATMAN TV Show, Adam West & Burt Ward are on the cover of GLOBE! Yes, this week's GLOBE tabloid newspaper has a cover story about "25 Favorite Celebs: Where Are They Now?". The cool thing is that they actually had something nice to say about them, ha! Plus, they put a small color photo of Batman & Robin on the cover! This is in stores right now so if you want one be sure to act quickly.
As Serious BATMAN Fans most of us totally love the 1966 BATMAN TV Show & here are just a few brand-new products related to that series. You see, Burt Ward, the Actor who played ROBIN THE BOY WONDER, has an official website where he has a few exclusive pieces of merchandise. I went there the other day & noticed a few things I have not seen there before. Shown here is a Batman and Robin T-Shirt, Writing Pen, & Key Chains with "1966 Batman" graphics ( I really love the Bat-Pen, ha! ). You can also see a few other new items there, just click HERE!
Check out this extremely cool Batman-themed T-Shirt used to promote the San Francisco Fire Department, specifically "Engine 26" in Diamond Heights. The design looks a lot like the opening title graphics for the 1966 BATMAN TV Show. Now, speaking of that TV series, somebody went to a Comic Book Convention where all the actors posed with the T-Shirt. There is Adam West ( Batman ), Burt Ward ( Robin, The Boy Wonder ), Julie Newmar ( Catwoman ), & the 1966 Batmobile Car Designer, George Barris!
This brand-new Character Glass of ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER just hit the market & like all the other glasses from this series will probably sell-out pretty soon. I love that they devoted a glass to Batman's partner. The graphics are really great! On the front is the image you see up above & on the back is the ROBIN "comic book logo". Oh yeah, I guess I should mention that the glass is totally clear but in this photo a piece of white paper was put inside to allow the image to be photographed. So, it looks a lot more cool than the dumb photo. This glass, of course, is one of the "Toon Tumblers" in the DC Comics line. So far they have made Poison Ivy, Joker, Harley Quinn, etc...Let's hope that they eventually make glasses of every single Batman character out there, ha ha! Wow! Check out this amazing "1966 Batman TV Show Tribute" Tattoo!! This was submitted by our friend Sarah who lives in Austria. This tattoo took over a year to create with 8 different trips to the Tattoo Shop. Now, that's dedication right there, ha! But it was worth it because it's a beautiful piece of ART. The details are insane! It features Batman ( Adam West ), Robin The Boy Wonder ( Burt Ward ), The Joker ( Cesar Romero ), the 1966 BATMAN TV Show Logo, & even the famous Red Bat-Phone! I think the artist did a great job on the rendering of the character's faces because they look EXACTLY like the original actors! Plus, the coloring & over-all composition is very excellent ( Be sure to click on the above photo for a larger, more detailed, pic ).
