Wow, a lot of unethical people on here. This is totally a scam, and the seller relied on the buyer assuming he was a normal upstanding human being who was selling a legitimate product. There is no way that is right, ethical, or moral. The seller deserves to be jailed.
Really? The seller was completely honest, upfront and quite descriptive about the item he is selling. I wish I could get the same when I go to buy my next used car.

The winner of this auction, if he had to pay, would not only be getting a picture of an iphone. He will be receiving one of life's lessons. The buyer has no else to blame but himself for this.
People will be trying to take things of value from you your entire life. If you wish to secure these things it would be best to keep your guard up. It took me about 20 seconds to read that item description, and I would do the same if I were going to spend $5, let alone $450.

I would gladly pay a $50 fee to continue to upgrade my phone every year. My bro in-law who just got the 4 through VZW will not have the chance to upgrade for almost 2 years!!! I can sell my current iPhone 4 on ebay subsidize my new iPhone and still come out ahead.
Not sure what all the problems are about. ATT allows you to upgrade earlier in most cases. Now they are throwing a $50 fee at you. It's still better than waiting 2 years imo. If you don't care about upgrading sooner just wait and you will be the same as the VZW customer as far as price goes.
ATT may seem like the devil but they are not necessarily any worse then the rest of them. I switched from VZW and although the service isn't as good. Where I do get it the 3g blows VZW's away. I will not be switching back.

I have a couple of thoughts here:
1) Apple developers are forgetting about their own UI guidelines. Rather than using a button like "Upgrade" or "Open MobileMe Preferences", they use the generic OK label that could mean anything.
2) They are being lazy during development, and the wording will be changed before the official release.

iPhone 4 for both me and the girlfriend. We decided to consolidate our phone bills, and FaceTime was a primary deciding factor for her. Decided to keep it light on the gifts this year with the addition of a new car, apartment/furniture, and a puppy.

Hit command-j at the desktop and you'll get something that looks like this. Check 'Show Item Info' and you're good to go. :)

Hello,
I was curious as to why we can no longer click on a sub-forum link? If I am currently in the "Site and Forum Feedback" forum and want to go to the "Mac Community" sub-forum I cannot, it will only allow me to go back to the main index.
A little confusing I know. Please see the screenshot, I would like to be able to click on the highlighted link.

Is your iPhone set up as a brand new phone or restored from an old backup?
Because it definitely seems like iPhones (all models) slow down once they have a pretty long "history".

I tend to agree. Cut programs until our expenses match our current 'revenues.' When the two are equal or are in the black, let's immediately pass an balanged-budget amendment so this problem never happens again. And, raise taxes so our spending is less than our revenues and we can start paying off the debts Reagan, Bush and Bush left our grandchildren. It's time to start acting like grown-ups.
For the record, they are paying their fair share. The top 50% of wage earners pay over 95% of the income tax. Your disgusting attack on all conservatives wanting to '****' over all citizens is just that... disgusting. They don't pay 95% of all taxes. In addition, if you look at their income, they have tons of it that is not taxed (So, shouldn't they be paying even more? I don't have much income that isn't taxed, why should they?) They also have and control the vast, vast majority of the wealth in this country that is not taxed until sold for a gain (whether you realize it or not, there's some big concepts in that one sentence). Finally, all the other taxes are regressive or at best flat, which means the poor and middle classes are paying more than their fair share of those taxes. You don't seem to care about that, you're more interested in protecting 100-200 of the wealthiest of the wealthy.

Certainly you understand that decreased taxation on the wealthy and corporations certainly hasn't helped, and in fact hurt. You see that, right? I'm too much of an old school Atari geek.
My 2 issues have been mentioned.
The controls on the touch screen are very frustrating.
You just can't have the precision you need in some of those games.
The arcade version of Asteroids is spot on but try flying around the rocks like you could do with a joystick and thrust button.
I'm guessing the iCade will help solve that problem but it might come with another.
The screen real estate taken up by the control section.
I want to play a full iPad screen of Adventure but it basically plays in a window.
That window isn't necessary with the iCade but will they update the app?
I doubt it.

In the U.S., Google does own the map data (http://www.gpsreview.net/google-drops-tele-atlas/). For further confirmation, note that it says "Map data �2011 Google" in the footer when viewing U.S. maps, and says nothing whatsoever about TeleAtlas or Navteq (this is not the case for some other countries). They made this change back around October around the same time that the very first Google Maps Navigation app for Android was released.

Do you ever see Apple selling flat screen lcd or plasma tv's in the future? Other computer companies like Dell and Sonly do it, so why not Apple? :apple:
