What is that "springing" option with the dock?
Spring-loaded folders in the dock. So you can drag a file onto a folder in the dock and have it spring open - like in the Finder.

Sadly, Vegas will cost you more for a week than SF (if you want to do it "right").
And doing San Francisco "right" is close if not more. At least in Vegas you have massive competition for your entertainment dollar. San Francisco entertainment venues is this strange, cabal like maze of approval processes with some social engineering objective hidden from the public.
Hotels, restaurants and other "substance" costs are a hell of a lot cheaper in Vegas than in San Francisco. I did Vegas for less than a grand in a week last summer just to see how far I could stretch my dollar. I ended up with free rooms, free food, complementary shows and spent my money on what matters -- booze, guns and women!

"The method includes sensing an object spaced away and in close proximity to the electronic device. The method also includes performing an action in the electronic device when an object is sensed." Meaning when I'm close to touching the darn thing do/show this when this is happening on screen.

I suppose I could use a standard AA battery recharger. I haven't seen one in use since about 10 years ago and they never used to be very good...
The current NiMH rechargeables are much, much better than the old NiCds; they last longer and allow more recharge cycles. They still don't last as long per cycle as an alkaline, but for battery-hungry gadgets NiMH is great.

The show hasn't been officially cancelled. Before today, they shut down production for the last 8 episodes for this season. Today, they fired Sheen and said they are unsure if the show will go on. Knowing Hollywood, they'll go on with a replacement. Oddly, Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox on his show when Fox quit and it went on for another 2 or 3 seasons.They can hire Ted McGinley.

Sounds like someone didn't take the time to read the post. If you wouldn't use it much you're implying you wouldn't use the iPod... period.

Hasn't Apple's success helped you think about your wallet? Companies are just now being able to price-match the iPad.
It really has become apparent that the iPad is priced aggressively. Even if other companies are price matching it, they aren't making much of a profit on their tablets. That is a big plus for Apple.

Creative positioning + bed with a good bit of "give", e.g. Memory Foam = enjoyment without that "crushing" feeling.

I used VMware workstation for Windows, that thing was awesome. Let me test so much stuff, and the features are so useful. That thing was slow, but it worked just fine. Now, if they released something like that for Mac, Parallels will have some stiff competition. But Parallels should still beat VMware in the price point, VMware isn't that cheap after all.

Amazon sells mostly LAME encoded 256kbs mp3 files, which are pretty comparable to the AAC files ITMS sells. AAC may have a slight advantage (for example see http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/271330/256-vbr-aac-vs-320-mp3-vs-256-vbr-mp3#post_3459768), but not much.

You actually gave the exact reason why the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS sell more than any android phone. Android offers you so many more choices, that there is no way any single one of them would sell as many units as the two options you have for a phone with iOS.
If by spin, you mean "reporting of facts without any opinion injected at all", then yes.
Here's an opinion: You don't have the foggiest grasp of economics.

Do people have good experiences with apple tv compared with tv of other brands?
If Apple did enter the TV market, they would most likely re-brand someone else panels. The question is who's panels would they use. I would like the think that Apple would go with Panasonic Viera panels as they are awesome (for plasmas).

Nice. Another awesome media streaming feature that will be choked by AT&T.
There will probably will be a push to utilize WIFI. Unless, of course, you're one of the "chosen" to have their unlimited data plans grandfathered and won't be impacted. ;)
