My College has a trip there every winter for five days. Luckily I am able to go this year so I am pumped big time.
We went last year for 4 days, got a major snow storm on our way there with a rental car with all season tires and the GPS told us to go up the mountain route instead of the highway. Took us about 8 hours instead of 5. It was well worth it, fresh snow. :D

Can you name a few more? I have only seen Sony support AAC on their PMP devices.

I thought I did everything right but... I did find that it was running another wu on 8 cores after I set it up, duh. Fixed that but it still won't pick up the bigadv so I thought maybe they are out of them? it will pick up normal wu's if it can't get bigadv one's. And maybe I need more than 6 GB of ram?
also, you need to have a passkey and completed 10 WUs with your passkey before you'll get a bigadv unit

Apple has had a phenomenal run. They are doing this on all fronts. They have 2 Billion CASH! That is a big deal. It keeps the R&D funded.
Actually they have over $6 billion in cash and another almost $4 billion in liquid, short term investments...so they really have $10 billion in cash, up from just over $8 billion a year ago.

right now its reformatting into a RAID, boss wanted to RAID it. lost 2 frames no biggie. here's what i got before that
[22:05:44] pleted 2500 out of 250000 steps (1%)
[22:54:37] Completed 5000 out of 250000 steps (2%)
so thats about 50 mins per frame. i was thinking maybe that was due to the clock speed being 2.26 or the HT. the old 3ghz MP does a frame in the low to mid 40s
wont get to test until tomorrow

Correct. Xcode is the Mac OSX development platorm, so naturally it only runs on Macs.

Was unfortunately one of the MANY who didn't get anything today...
Originally thought about the 32GB 3G, but ultimately decided I wanted the 64 3G. Sadly, was waiting at the South Coast Apple Store and slowly heard them announce the 3G models all disappearing one by one.
Waited for 3 hours... not the longest I've waited, but still disappointing. Oh well, Online Ordering here I come!

Walt Mossberg wrote a very interesting article in the Wall Street Journal about 2 weeks ago in which he said independent research had noted that 19% of all college students now use a Mac. That number is expected to grow leaps and bounds by this time next year.

I have an external Mac display cerca 2008 with a the apple display port that I hook to my Macbook. When I got a revamped mac book I had to buy a mini display adapter to use it.
I want to get a the new iMac, and want to use my external display still. But I haven't been able to find info on Mini/Display port to Tunderbolt.
I know half the charm of these thunderbolts is running HD video from an external drive and separate monitors. But I haven't found what I'm looking for.
Thoughts?

It'll be a pathetic excuse for a cloud if it'll only stream in the US (which if they continue with this 1 datacenter model will be the case). Amazon will beat them here, hands down. Have you seen how many datacenters they have?

On top of that they will grab the tower with the best signal no matter what carrier it is on.
If you place a 911 call from an ATT phone and T-Mobile has a better tower in the area then you can sure as hell bet that the phone will be going to that tower.
emergency mode on a phone is very different than a normal call. It has the power to kick others off the line and you are given more dedicated bandwithe for the phone.
